Trinity College of Natural Health, Indiana. Ron
earned the credentials of Naturopathic Doctor,
Doctor of Naturopathic Ministry, Master
Herbalist, and Certified Nutritional Counselor.
He is board-certified through the American

Accreditation Board.
Ron is a licensed
and ordained minister with the Assemblies of
God, having served as a pastor for many years.
Pam is an ordained minister through Word
Fellowship Church in Chouteau, OK. Ron and Pam
Anderson believe in the body’s innate God-given
natural ability to heal itself when given an
appropriate internal and external environment.
They believe man is the steward of his own body.
They see their role as teacher or consultant to
the individual
They operate New Horizons Natural Heathcare Center in Locust Grove, OK. Many of Dr. Anderson's nutritional supplements will be available in the Resources Room at the PowerUP Conference.
Dr. Barrett will cover the basics all families should be aware of in order to raise a healthy family in today’s environment. It covers proper nutrition, environmental toxicity, exercise and proper function.
From the birth process to high
school sports, from learning to walk to carrying
a backpack, children are subjected to health
problems and trauma that can affect the
well-being of their lives. Infantile colic, ear
infections, tonsillitis, scoliosis, adolescent
low back pain and even so-called “ADD” can all
be related to treatable health problems such as
allergies, low blood sugar, nutritional
deficiency and impurities in the body. The purpose of this workshop is to educate parents on safe, natural alternatives to treating family health problems that don’t involve drugs or surgery.
Bio: Dr. Ryan Barrett received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2003 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He received his Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. He was a Presidential Scholar at Palmer College and a member of the Honors Program at MSSU. Dr. Barrett married the love of his life, Kari, in 2001 and they now raise 2 children. He is a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Tahlequah, OK and Past-President of the local Rotary Club.
Dr. Barrett became interested in NUCCA (upper cervical chiropractic) after watching his father avoid back surgery through this procedure. As Dr. Barrett became a patient later that same year, his asthma that he had for over 10 years cleared up and was able to get off all of his medications about 1 month after receiving his first spinal correction. Since that time, Dr. Barrett has been dedicated to getting sick people well without the use of drugs or surgery. He practices at Barrett Spinal Care in Tahlequah, OK.
Roberta J. Potts, J.D.
Roberta will share a heartfelt, motivational message entitled "Under the Shadow." You will hear about her special relationship with her father, evangelist Oral Roberts, as well as her close fellowship with Jesus, who comforted her during her most difficult times. Roberta will share "growing up as a shy girl in the house of someone famous--my experiences, both good and bad--what I've learned through it all."
Roberta
believes, "You can be who God wants you to
be no matter what!"
Bio: A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Roberta Potts has been a practicing attorney for the past twenty years. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association as well as the Oklahoma Association for Justice. Upon graduation from Tulsa’s Memorial High School, Mrs. Potts attended Oral Roberts University earning an undergraduate degree in history with a minor in French. In the meantime she met and married fellow ORU student Ron Potts, from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Eleven years after obtaining her undergraduate degree, Mrs. Potts commenced her law school education at ORU. She graduated cum laude from that institution in 1987 and successfully completed the Oklahoma Bar Examination later that summer. While in law school she was named to the Dean’s List, Who’s Who Among American Law Students, and Outstanding Young Women of America.
In her law practice, Mrs. Potts concentrates in the area of personal injury and accident law. She relates that representing people who have been injured in car accidents is a natural extension of her Christian witness. “I’m one of the few attorneys in town who prays with their clients and believes with them for their healing.” Mrs. Potts’ husband serves as the business manager for the law office and the couple enjoy working together. Ron and Roberta Potts have been married over 38 years. The couple has two children and three grandchildren.
In addition to her law practice, Mrs. Potts speaks occasionally to church and Christian groups in the Tulsa area. For the past nineteen years she has served as a volunteer co-host for a program entitled “The Roadshow” on the Oasis Network (90.5 F.M.). She also has recently been chosen as a member of the Board of Trustees of Oral Roberts University.
Proud of her Cherokee heritage, Roberta is the daughter of evangelist and author Oral Roberts and his wife Evelyn.

![]() Leslie Marshall, CPI
(Sat. 5/15 1:30 - 2:45 p.m.) Christian Meditation is very simple—yet simply profound. It's a direct way to engage in deep thought, to ponder, to reflect and to listen. The LORD has treasures for us by His Holy Spirit through His Word!
During this workshop, you will hear Leslie's
personal story, who previously practiced Eastern Meditation and
Yoga before coming to Christ. Come hear how the
wide gate and broad road to destruction turned
into the small gate and narrow road that led to
Real Life! Bio: Leslie G. Marshall is a child of God, wife, mother, artist, and musician. Leslie loves teaching PraiseMoves, "The Christian Alternative to Yoga" in the San Diego beach town of Encinitas. As a young adult, Leslie left the Church and followed the path of Eastern Mysticism. She became a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation (TM) and Hatha Yoga while still in High School. Leslie spent 5 years studying at International University (1975-80) where she was immersed in the Hindu teachings and lifestyle of The Maharishi.
During her long 20-year journey back to Jesus, the side tracks and upheavals all played a part in God's plan for her life. Leslie is always available to answer questions about Christianity and Eastern Religions and is especially attuned to how the ancient Hindu spiritual practice of Yoga has quietly, deceptively, and thoroughly seeped into mainstream American culture.
(Sat. 5/15 10:45 - 12 noon)
Becky will speak on the benefits of massage, and neuro-muscular bodywork. Many people think of massage as an indulgence or luxury. While a good massage can feel like pampering and be supremely relaxing, there's also ample evidence that this hands-on method can benefit many health conditions, from anxiety and back pain to sports injuries and tension headaches.
Massage may work for any number of reasons: Its been shown to reduce heart rate and blood pressure. By increasing blood circulation, it can ease aching muscles and stiff joints. It lowers levels of stress hormones. And it boosts production of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers, as well as serotonin, a brain chemical that regulates mood (we can all use a little of that!). Massage can even enhance immune function.
Bio: A resident of Tahlequah for over 30 years, Becky is a Christian Neuro-Muscular Therapist who truly believes that God has blessed her with the opportunity to minister to others through touch ("I can attest to that!" says Laurette Willis, PraiseMoves Director).
Becky received her training in Tulsa, OK at Warren Medical Clinic's "Me Ke Akua" (Our Heavenly Father's) Academy of Myo-Therapy, Neuro-Muscular Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She was a graduate in 1999. She is also certified in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point, Touch For Health, Reflexology, Myo-fascial Release Therapy, Sports Massage, Neuro-Lymphatics, Acupressure, Stress Release Therapy, and Nutritional Direction.
She worked as a Massage Therapist for Muskogee Regional Medical Center for 7 years and has had an office in her home in Woodall since 1999. Becky is a mother of 3, and attends New Community Church in Muskogee.
(Sat. 5/15 3:00 - 4:15 p.m.)
One of God's greatest gifts to us is the gift of humor. Although the world has often taken comedy and humor and turned it into something dark, there is a way to redeem what the Bible calls "mirth." You can use humor to reach others in a unique and non-threatening way to share the Gospel. In this workshop, we will look at how Jesus used humor in the Bible to teach and reach out to people. You will take home ideas on how you can use humor to reach seekers and comfort believers, and discover a number of valuable tips to enable you to reinforce Jesus' teachings with children.
Kathleen will also share her expertise in a class exclusively for young adults ages 12-21!
~
A Hands-on Workshop
to Teach Young People how to Serve God with Mirth
through
Improv
Improv is a fun and powerful tool. And...you don't need to be funny or have any theatre experience to learn how to do it! (Really, you don't!) This workshop will teach the basics of Gospel Improv and give you a way to channel your sense of humor, and energy, to serve God with mirth!
Bio: Kathleen Walder has performed improvisation and stand-up comedy for nearly 20 years, having studied with Second City Conservatory and Cabaret Dada, and has performed with two Improv troupes.
Upon becoming a Christian in 1997, she began studying humor in the Bible, Jesus' use of humor to reach and teach non-believers, and how to apply His examples today. She formed an Improv troupe called "Out of the Blue" that became an outreach ministry performing in the community, at juvenile detention centers, and on missionary trips. Currently, she is part of a dynamic new church program for children called "High Voltage Worship" in which she plays the comic host weekly for groups of children 1st-4th grades at her home church in Akron, Ohio.
Kathleen is also a Certified PraiseMoves Instructor.
~ Living as Warriors of Light in this Generation! (Sat. 5/15 3:00 - 4:15 p.m.)
In early Japan, the term samurai originally meant "those who serve in close attendance to nobility." Considered members of the warrior class, Samurais followed a code they called "the way of the sword."
As believers, "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (of the flesh or this world), but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds"(2 Corinthians 10:4). Ours is the Way of "the Sword of the Spirit," the Word of the Living God (Ephesians 6:17)!
Learn how YOU can become skilled in the use of the spiritual weapons God has given us. You can be fearless and disciplined in word and deed!
Bio: Anna Belle Isaacs is a licensed minister through the Assemblies of God Fellowship. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She served as a full time Children’s Pastor for 3 years and later as a Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice. She ministers part time at Calvary Church as an Adult Sunday School teacher and is part of the leadership team of their Women’s Ministry. She also teaches at Women’s conferences and retreats.
(Sat. 5/15 10:45 -
12 noon) Ellen will speak specifically on the hidden dangers of inflammation in the body and how it affects our health—especially the heart, brain and nervous system. Inflammation often hides in the the digestive tract (where 60% of your immune system is located).
Ellen will share information on how health practitioners and everyday people are "calming the fires of inflammation" through the use of healthful foods and supplements. Many have found relief from viruses, allergies, infections, acne and more serious ailments. She'll bring some hand-outs and product samples for workshop attendees.
Bio: Ellen worked in the health food industry for over 12 years. She opened and owned the Oasis Health Food Store in Tahlequah for 8 years and has extensive knowledge in the area of natural health, herbs, supplements and whole foods. She attends Cornerstone Fellowship in Tahlequah.
Those who enjoyed Tronda's workshops and presentations last year are thrilled to learn she will be joining us again to share her love of serving the Lord and worshiping Him with our whole hearts.
Tronda writes, "Remember, it’s all about God! Put God first and seek Him every step of the way! Being a minister in dance is not something to be entered into lightly. Your purpose must be pure and not because it is trendy or seems new and exciting. Worshiping the Lord in the dance must be respectful and reverent to God. When ministering in dance, others should not see you but see Him. It is not a performance. If you are called, filled with His Spirit, have a consistent prayer life and a sincere relationship with the Lord, minister in dance to His people and Dance for Him!
Bio: Tronda Graham is a wife, mother and grandmother who loves God has been called to minister, mentor and motivate. She is a Christian who is directed by the Holy Spirit. You will be refreshed in spirit, soul and body. That's part of the beauty of PraiseMoves. Since the real foundation of PraiseMoves is the Bible scriptures we meditate upon while doing these relaxing stretches, your body is strengthened, your mind renewed (on the Word of God), your spirit fed -- and you will have invested in your relationship with the Lord by praising Him through His Word.
That's why we say, "Transform your workouts into worship with PraiseMoves!"
